Your Extraordinary Mind

There’s a page that I am a fan of on Facebook, Sweet on Veg, that posted the photo above. It’s from an artist named Andre Jordan. I felt the need to share it on this blog.

I haven’t read anything more profound than this in quite a while. And for me, it not only speaks of how one should regard romantic relationships, but really all relationships. A nice exterior in someone is okay to have and be around, but when it comes down to it, a person’s mind is all that matters. It is the place where the decision, consciously or subconsciously, is made on whether or not it’s worth it to continue a relationship with that person.

Some may say that a person’s heart is what matters. Certainly that’s important. From the heart is where love, emotion and compassion originates. But those things are involuntary. We don’t have to work at creating and developing them…they just ARE.

The mind is where logic, opinion, and ultimately, action springs from. It’s these things that make or break relationships…every kind of relationship. It is the deal maker and the deal breaker.
